If it were easy to gain financial leverage for your business, everyone would be doing it, right? I talk to a lot of different entrepreneurs. The common theme I hear when it comes to finances is fear. Fear of failing. Fear of doing the wrong thing. Fear of not having enough. This can be hard on an entrepreneur! Fear can lead to inaction, and inaction can stifle a business. But not to worry: there is hope! You can grow from fear to confidence with finances. I am so passionate about helping you achieve your financial goals. Here are a few ways that breaking up with fear can actually help you gain the financial leverage that you are looking for.
When you separate fear from your financial mindset, your focus can improve dramatically! You are able to focus on the tasks at hand, like actually running your business, being there for your employees and being the best you can be for your clients. Focus is often undervalued. When you are focused on a goal (especially when finances aren’t a distraction) you can get exponentially more done than you ever imagined. Do me a favor: think about one thing you think you could focus on if you were to break up with that fear of finances in your business.
Clear eyes, full heart, can’t lose! Did you get that Friday Night Lights reference? It means that when our eyes (read that: minds) are clear, we’re able to do more than we set out to! When you are running your small business, you need to have a clear mind and be ready to make decisions at any point. Being worried about finances can cloud your judgment and keep you from making the best decisions for the business in a given moment.
Best of all, separating fear from finances gives you peace of mind. Peace is something everyone needs. You need to rest your mind, especially after long grueling days of leading your business. When you can separate fear from finances, the peace that you gain will be that much more valuable to the business, because it gives YOU (the greatest business asset) the energy to keep going.
I hope that these benefits inspire you to start your process of breaking up with fear of finances. For a community of entrepreneurs doing the same thing, go check out our Facebook Group here! You aren’t alone in your journey!
