Often times, we cant find the simple tips we are looking for on the internet. the world wide web is too big and what we are looking for just doesn’t show up on our screens. Well today, I am here to give you three simple financial tips to use for your business, starting today! Check them out below:

Routine

Practice may not make perfect all the time, but it sure does help! Consistent, effective routines like budgeting and reviewing your finances are imperative to your business’ success. A financial routine allows you to see what’s coming, know what happened, and better prepare for the future. Now don’t let the big B word (budgeting…) scare you. A budget should not feel restrictive or controlling. A good budget and plan should actually help free you up to think LESS about money and more about what you are doing with it, like living your life. Pay

Have you ever heard the expression, “You gotta pay to play”? If you haven’t, it’s often used in poker meaning that to get into the game, you have to put some money in. In business, you can (and must in some cases) pay to keep the business going. You have to pay your taxes and your credit cards, but you should also be paying yourself! We talk about this a lot at Let’s Venture, but paying yourself a portion of what your business makes every month actually helps your business grow. Yes you heard that right, growing your business doesn’t have to mean that every dollar just goes back into it. When you pay yourself, you have skin in the game! You get to enjoy your earned dollars! Optimize

It’s time to trim the excess! The parts of your process that you know just do not make sense? Yea, it’s time to optimize those. Think about WHY you are doing it, maybe you used to be the only person who could, or you haven’t trusted anyone with it before. Then think about WHAT it is. Could someone else do it?
